Every year the Dutch Open Air Museum welcomes over 560,000 visitors from all corners of the globe. Pay a visit to our museum and take a step back into the past. Experience the museum park and the Canon of Dutch History, and get closer to history than ever. Take a stroll through the extensive park and discover all the different activities, demonstrations and historic buildings. This is a place where you can really immerse yourself in history!
It costs €25 to park a tour bus. The Dutch Open Air Museum offers special rates exclusively for tour operators.
Half-day admission price (max. 3.5 hours) € 13.50 per person
Full-day admission price € 16 per person
Guided tours
Would you like to make your group visit to the Open Air Museum extra special? One way to do this is to book a guided tour! An enthusiastic guide will take you back in time and tell you fascinating stories that bring the museum’s top attractions to life. Guided tours can be given in Dutch, English or German and cost € 60 per group.
The Canon of Dutch History
Based around fifty windows to the past, the Canon of Dutch History leads you through the most important events, people and objects that have made the Netherlands what it is today. The presentation covers the entire history of our country. An audio tour of the Canon of Dutch History is included in the admission price and is available in three languages: Dutch, English and German.
