Entrance Building
At the end of 2016 the Entrance Building underwent a transformation. This modern building has a large glass wall that looks out over the Entrance Square. In the Entrance Building you will find the museum shop, the entrance to the Canon of Dutch History exhibition and the Canon Café, amongst other things. You can be sure of a warm welcome here when you visit the museum.
Modern location within a historic museum
The Entrance Building, with the adjoining Canon Café, makes an outstanding location for drinks or lunch with your company or family. This bright, spacious venue is suitable for both large and small groups. The Canon Café can accommodate around 250 people and the Entrance Building itself a further 500. Start your group visit with a reception in our Entrance Building, before going on to explore other beautiful and historic locations at the museum.
The perfect spot for presentations and meetings
The Entrance Building also offers suitable spaces for meetings and presentations. These include the Canon Room, which can hold up to 70 people, and the Auditorium, where 80 people can be accommodated. The Canon of Dutch History can also be booked as an exclusive space for drinks or a dinner for a maximum of 200 people. Are you looking for a venue that can hold up to 150 guests? Then why not consider the impressive dome building inside the Canon.
