Cleaning seeds with the wanmolen
On Monday, our colleague Ruben will demonstrate how seeds are cleaned in the traditional way, using the wanmolen, among other tools. This is a wonderful old farming craft where you can see with your own eyes how grains are separated from their husks. Fun and educational for young and old alike!

Pruning fruit trees
On Tuesday, our colleague Wouter will show you how to prune fruit trees. Together with a number of colleagues, he will demonstrate how this is done in practice and explain what you need to pay attention to.

Willow weaving & overwintering container plants
On Thursday, our colleague René will demonstrate various activities. We will start with willow weaving at ‘Kraantje Lek’. Then we will walk together to the greenhouse (Venloos warenhuis), where our container plants that are part of our botanical collection overwinter.

Pracht van het Ambacht
This tour is part of Pracht van het Ambacht. During the spring break, the focus is on craftsmanship from the past and present, and there is plenty to discover throughout the museum. Discover how the Real Estate department keeps the historic buildings in top condition, get a behind-the-scenes look at the work being done at the tram depot or try your hand at the Staphorster Stippen workshop in the Crafts Workshop.
