Workshop: Working with wood
Make your own coat rack!
Lots of wooden pegs are used at the Dutch Open Air Museum’s boatyard. These are needed for boat building, but there is plenty more you can do with them. You could make a coat hook or a tablet stand, for example. Will you give it a try?

Important information:
- Please bear in mind that it takes 10 minutes to walk from the entrance building.
- The description above gives you an idea of what you will make, but we will look at what is most suitable during the workshop itself.
- Children may also take part. Maximum of 2 children per adult. Minimum age: 6 (workshop 90 minutes: 10+). Adults will have to supervise their children. Do not forget to register the accompanying adult too.
