The museum’s large nursery garden provides the plants and trees that the museum needs to create the presentations of the gardens and farmyards. The nursery garden also contains examples of topiary using yew and box. There are old cold frames (Lent frames), a shade garden and a fruit house with old varieties of fruit grown using various tree-training methods.
