Depot Dutch Open Air Museum

In the collection of the Dutch Open Air Museum are about 170,000 objects such as carts, home textiles, regional costumes, paintings, toys, furniture, tools, agricultural equipment and prints. One part can be seen in the museum, but the majority is located in the depot. This collection is not realized in one day. The last hundred years, museum staff have done fieldwork, research, and collected items from everyday life. There are also documentary collections, containing photographs, films, slides, magazines and books.
