Summer 2013 Opening hours
From 29 March to 27 October 2013 the museum will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A journey back to days gone by
The Open Air Museum is where the past comes to life. Special encounters, smells, images and stories arouse unforgettable memories. The museum park is a hive of activity and shows the daily lives of ordinary people. There’s something for everyone – young and old alike. Children are welcome to visit the children’s activity farmyard. Has it been a few years since you last visited the Open Air Museum? Then you won’t recognise it. Time may stand still within its grounds, but the museum itself is constantly changing.
The HollandRama presentations start at 11 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. – 12 noon – 1.30 p.m. – 2.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. – 5 p.m. These times are subject to change. The definitive times are indicated on the daily programme that you receive on your arrival. The duration of the presentation is 20 minutes.
Free guided toursEvery Sunday – and on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the school holidays – there is a free guided tour for individual visitors at 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. The tour takes around one hour.
