Disabled visitorsDisabled visitorsThe Netherlands Open Air Museum and historic buildings are accessible to disabled visitors. However, the museum park is situated on a hilly site and not all paths are surfaced. This means that access to certain areas may be more difficult, particularly in wet weather.A number of the historic buildings and mills also feature presentations on the upper floors. These areas cannot be accessed with a wheelchair. Unfortunately, due to the moving platform, the HollandRama memory machine is also unsuitable for wheelchair users. Please note: Due to the potential slipperiness of the undulating tramway, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee that wheelchair users will be able to ride on the historic tram in the winter months (November to March). more |
